Dette bilde liker jeg svært godt. Det forteller en situasjon på en god måte også er det flot fanget med flott lys. Anbefalinger fra meg.

- Ikke noe spesielt negativt. eneste er om det hadde blitt mer fokus på personen og benken hvis man hadde fjernet flammene til høyre. De drar blikket litt, men de forteller jo litt om bildet også.

Ser også for meg at en versjon i farger også hadde blitt bra :)

Interesting light - a pleasing placement of all important subjects in the image - and with a feeling for some mood.
The S/H seems attractive - but I believe, even a colour-version wouldn't really harm the impression the picture gives.
The main-problem to my mind is, that the image seems more attractive than it actually is able to communicate an information - an information about what this guy is doing, or what exactly the smoke refers too.
Quite honest - first I thought he is baking bread or similar, next a sort of production came to my mind - until I read your hint about sykehus.

I do like the image - no doubt - the concentrated expression of him, the diagonal lines of light in the smoke, the fire in the background - there is absolute atmosphere to see - but it doesn't result in a clear understanding of the situation.

This is not a flaw as such - but doesn't help to ''conclude'' when looking at it.

Not sure if this makes sense to you - not supposed to be negative - just some reflection...

Georg: Thanks again! Your comments are always appreciated. I agree that the photo does not give a clear understanding of the situation. The man is making fire in the patients kitchen at Okhaldhunga hospital. All patients need to have relatives or friends taking care of them, while they are staying at the hospital. They take care of the patients hygiene, wash their clothes and make them dinner.
